Royal Wedding in Troy

Often times clients ask Beverly, "Would you be able to create a wedding six or seven hours away?" She often replies, "well, of course!"... despite the difficulty of transporting perishables, leaving the store for multiple days, figuring out where to create the pieces, and worrying about everything being perfect! She then proceeds to book her hotel, hand selects the freshest flowers, and heads out on the road. The excitement of fulfilling a bride and grooms dreams, and showcasing Floral Elegance's work in a new and different location can be very rewarding. It also presents an exciting challenge, leaving the comforts of having everything at your fingertips in your very own shop, and re-creating one.....well, in a hotel room or on a dance floor. Recently Beverly traveled to Troy, Pennsylvania to create a wedding fit for a queen. The colors were soft peaches and creams, accented with rich browns and bright greens. The bride had seen Beverly's work, and pretty much left it up to her to do something fabulous, and that she did.

The bouquets were rich in texture including
dahlia, roses, hydrangea, astilbe, coxcomb celocia,
hypericum berries, seeded eucalyptus, freesia, cymbidium
orchids, and even small succulents, which can be planted
after the wedding and enjoyed for years to come.
